Individual Therapy

I provide individual therapy to my clients. Currently, I'm only offering virtual services, utilizing a HIPAA compliant platform called SimplePractice. Listed to the right are just some of the ways therapy can help you feel better.

Please note, this is by no means an exclusive list! I work with clients on a variety of problems.

Work with Teens

I work with clients aged 15+. My career has equipped me with the tools and experience to help you and your teenager address: school issues, self-esteem, anxiety, and transitions, such as starting a new school, graduating high school, preparing for college, parent divorce, and moving to a new home.

My sessions with teenagers are confidential, unless there is a concern for safety. I can also hold joint sessions with parents and their teens too.

Collaboration

This is a voluntary option, I collaborate with all of your providers involved in addressing your mental health concerns, so that everyone is on the same page and you receive a more effective therapy experience!

I do not charge any fees for consultations. Again, collaboration only occurs with your informed consent.

Trainings & Lectures

I also provide trainings to schools, both staff and students, on a variety of mental health topics. I can also be contacted to guest lecture in classes as well!

Some topics I've presented on are: classroom management strategies, interdisciplinary collaboration, anxiety, and more.

Please contact me with any questions and for pricing!

Manage Anxiety Symptoms

Together we'll discover ways for you to manage symptoms of anxiety (sweaty palms, heart beating out of your chest, upset stomach). We'll discuss coping skills and work to apply these skills to your day-to-day life. We'll also come up with ways to challenge catastrophic thoughts and prove your anxiety wrong.

Together, we'll reduce how intense and frequent anxiety is for you, so it no longer gets in the way of life. Feel like your thoughts are running full speed on a treadmill? Together we'll figure out how to hit pause, give your brain a break, and make those thoughts slow down.

Manage Stress

Often times we get consumed with work, school, and other life responsibilities. This can lead us to feeling the effects of stress and burnout and fall into patterns of putting the needs of others above our own.

We'll work on how to incorporate activities into your life that create a sense of joy and relaxation, challenge feeling like you always need to do the most, and work on setting boundaries so that your needs are met. Let's figure out how to take a break, while still meeting the demands of your life together!

3

Build Social Connections

Feel like your plants are your only friends? You are so not alone, a lot of people feel that way. It can be tough to meet people. Sometimes anxiety gets in the way. Other times you don't know where to meet like minded people. Often times it's even both of these things!

We can resolve anxiety preventing you from connecting with others, strengthen communication skills (believe it or not you too can master the art of "small talk"), and figure out where to meet others.

4

Boost Self Esteem

Self-esteem comes from a place of accepting ourselves - strengths, weaknesses, positives, faults. Throw anxiety into the mix and it becomes really easy to lose sight of these things. We start to feel bad about ourselves and become our own worst critics. Through our work together, we'll uncover your strengths, set and reach goals, and help you genuinely love the person you are. Trust me, it will be a pleasure to meet you!
